At the Detroit Auto Show Lexus unveiled the LF-A Roadster Concept, even if everyone was waiting for the long-anticipated LF-A supercar. If put into production the LF-A Roadster will compete with the M6 convertible. The production Lexus LF-A is set to arrive in 2010 priced at over $200,000.

Volkswagen may build new U.S. plant
Volkswagen of America chief executive Stefan Jacoby moved closer Wednesday to confirming that the automaker would build a new U.S. assembly plant.
Speaking at the Automotive News World Congress in Detroit, Jacoby said local production was a key part of Volkswagen's growth plan for the United States and said a decision would come soon about a plant.
