The Italian coachbuilder’s design team did a wonderful job in turning the Quattroporte sedan into fastback/station-wagon hybrid.

One of the more stunning concept cars set to debut at March’s Geneva Motor Show won’t be the creation of some overpaid and stuffy professional designer, instead it will be the work of a group of students from Italy’s famed Istituto Europeo di Design (IED). The new concept is the full-scale Maserati Chicane coupe concept, a design which draws obvious cues from the current GranTurismo but has a unique and modern look of its own.
